For those that aren’t in the know, CES, also known as the Consumer Electronics Show, takes place in Las Vegas and showcases some of the industry’s biggest news and innovations. And we wanted in on the action! Check out some of our big announcements including in-game voice chat & lightning fast gameplay!

Are you ready to chat in-game while playing online multiplayer? Gameloft has teamed up with Verizon Wireless to show off what Verizon’s 4G LTE Network can offer consumers in the future and what better way to do that then to test out in-game voice chat in one of our best games! If you’re at CES this week, be sure to stop by Verizon’s booth & try out voice-chat in Asphalt 6: Adrenaline! Up to 3 players can play and talk at the same time on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Verizon to illustrate the potential of in-game voice chat and multiplayer over the 4G LTE network,” said Baudouin Corman, vice president of Publishing for the Americas at Gameloft.  “Gameloft seeks to provide gamers with a complete mobile gaming experience and feels that these features are at the forefront of the platform’s future.”

And be sure to stop by Qualcomm’s CES booth to play Gameloft’s hit game, Modern Combat 3, running on the Snapdragon S4 Mobile Development Platform! Experience the action-packed FPS the way it was meant with a seamless & complete mobile gaming experience on mobile devices. MC3 has been optimized to take advantage of the industry-leading Snapdragon processor to deliver a truly console-quality gaming experience!

  • “We are excited to be working with Gameloft to bring multiplayer console-like experience to mobile devices with Qualcomm’s leading, integrated mobile graphics and LTE technology,” said Dave Durnil, director of advanced gaming at Qualcomm. “It is a priority for Qualcomm to optimize our Snapdragon processors to provide an unparalleled mobile gaming experience for end users and we are excited to showcase Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation on our Snapdragon S4 platform at CES.”

And as many of you already know, we at Gameloft want to make our games available to as many people as possible, which means bringing them to a multitude of digital devices.
