Typically, when you ask for an autograph, you’ll have a pen and paper in hand. Not so with David Villa! He’ll leave quite an impression when you ask for his signature. Gameloft found out first hand when the video production team shot a few clips of the football star.

The video team headed over to Barcelona, Spain to film the spectacle. Before the shooting began, the team worked to set up the equipment in anticipation of Villa’s arrival. Thankfully, once Villa made his way into the stadium for the shoot, the crew was ready to film.

It was a rather hot day, with the sun blazing high on the entire crew. In fact, it was so hot it was an utter nightmare for the video crew. Villa looked calm and collected; years of training under the Spanish skies made him impervious to the heat. The crew? Not so much. Bottles of ice cold water were emptied before shooting was finished!

The concept was simply to show off Villa’s breathtaking ability as a striker. He demonstrated his pinpoint accuracy with quite a few kicks. Combine his ability with granting a fan’s wish for an autograph and you get … well … this:
