Mark April in your calendars, because that’s when Dungeon Hunter: Alliance will be releasing on the PS3′s PlayStation Network. Set in the world of Gothicus – which is also home to two iPhone / iPad games of the same name (you may have heard of them ^_^), Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is a dungeon-crawling action RPG which supports upto four-player local and online co-operative play. If we’re not mistaken, that makes it the first of its kind on the PS3.

Today brings some pretty exciting news from the Gameloft front-line. We’re pleased to share with you details of a long-term multi-platform licensing partnership with Epic Games Inc. which will see four Gameloft titles released using the Unreal 3 Engine over the next two years.

Taken from the press release which was issued today “Gameloft is very pleased to partner with Epic, especially with their ability to stay ahead of the curve and continually place the best game engine technology in developers’ hands at any given point in time,” said Julien Fournials, vice president of production, Gameloft. “Using Unreal Engine 3 allows us to push game visuals with remarkable lighting and high-fidelity environments. We are confident that players will enjoy the games powered by Unreal Engine 3.”

“There is no doubt that the four games running on Unreal Engine 3 will be visually stunning and take advantage of the powerful mobile gaming devices,” said Mark Rein, vice president, Epic Games. “We are thrilled to provide our technology to Gameloft and look forward to a lasting collaboration.”

We’re pleased to announce that we’re partnered with consolegaming.eu to bring you a Modern Combat: Domination Clan League where teams will face off against each other in 4v4 matches spread across 16 teams – starting 31st January – with some snazzy loot including £50 PSN vouchers up for grabs.

Modern Combat: Domination was released on the PlayStation Network last week, and since then competitive gamers from all over the world have been flocking to its 16-player online multiplayer modes – ranging from Deathmatch to Domination.

Consolegaming.eu specialise in competitive tournaments, boasting one of the biggest clan / ladder / tournament communities in Europe and so we both felt it would be a logical step and exciting experience for Modern Combat: Domination to make an appearance within its ranks.
